8/8 Hanami

In one of the most intense battles in Jujutsu Kaisen, the death of Hanami stands out as a significant turning point in the series. Hanami met his demise at the hands of Gojo Satoru. The battle unfolded during the Shibuya Incident, where Hanami, alongside Jogo, engaged in a fierce fight against Gojo.

The pair thought they could overpower Gojo together, but it turned out otherwise. Jogo escaped with the help of Choso when the latter distracted Gojo. However, Hanami's luck ran out when he was crushed between Gojo's infinity and a wall, the impact of which instantly killed him.

7/8 Mechamaru

Even though he was a traitor, most fans still believe that Mechamaru deserved a second chance at life. After all, the guy had never seen the world with his own eyes. He was desperate to get his body back to normal.

The binding vow that Mahito made with Mechamaru was the curse that led the latter to his grave. Even though he finally got a normal body through Mahito's Idle Transfiguration, the battle between the two was just heart-wrenching. This was the last battle of Kokichi, the original human who controlled Mechamaru.

Regardless of his evil deeds, Toji's death was the final and only indication that he cared for his son and not only himself. After the battle with Dagon, Toji took off with Megumi for another standoff.

Jogo, driven by his allegiance to the curses and the plan to revive Sukuna, forcefully feeds Itadori Yuji ten of Sukuna's fingers. This act triggers a transformation, allowing Sukuna to take over Itadori's body.

Once Sukuna gains control, he effortlessly overwhelms Jogo, showcasing his immense power and skill. Jogo's fiery abilities prove futile against Sukuna's unparalleled strength and mastery of Cursed Techniques. In a stunning display, Sukuna obliterates Jogo, leaving no chance of survival.

4/8 Kento Nanami

During the Shibuya Incident arc, Nanami encounters a multitude of mutated humans despite being already gravely injured. Continuing to battle relentlessly, Nanami relentlessly slaughters the mutated humans until he finally confronts Mahito.

Despite Mahito's offer to engage in conversation, Nanami is suddenly visited by a vision of his long-deceased friend, Yu, who gestures toward Yuji. With unwavering resolve, Nanami shows his trust in Yuji to take over the battle before Mahito swiftly obliterates his upper body.

3/8 Suguru Geto

In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Geto tries to tame Rika, a strong Cursed Spirit, by fighting and defeating Yuta, but fate takes a terrible turn as Geto is gravely injured by Yuta Okkotsu's resolve. Geto successfully escapes Yuta but is met with another force, and that would be Gojo.

2/8 Masamichi Yaga

Masamichi Yaga, the principal of Jujutsu Tech High School, is found guilty of instigating the violent clash between Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. As a consequence, he is sentenced to death. However, his confrontation with Principal Gakuganji and the higher-ups marks his end.

Gakuganji demands answers from Yaga about creating Cursed Corpses like Panda. However, Yaga staunchly refuses to comply. In response, Gakuganji proceeds with the execution, mercilessly ending Yaga's life.

1/8 Mai Zenin

After being brutally injured by her own father, Mai is saved by her twin sister, Maki. In an agonizing scene, Mai witnesses the intense confrontation between Maki and their father unfold before her eyes. Unfortunately, Maki is eventually defeated, leaving the sisters vulnerable.

Subsequently, the twins are forcefully taken by Ogi and thrown into a pit teeming with Curses. Overwhelmed by their injuries, both sisters lose consciousness. In a final act of selflessness, Mai absorbs Maki's dark energy, symbolically taking it upon herself. Maki embarks on a merciless rampage, massacring the Zenin clan to avenge her sister.
