Goblin Slayer Season 2 Scheduled For October 2023

Goblin Slayer is making a comeback after 5 years of its release. The series garnered a huge fanbase as soon as it got released in 2018. Now, the series is all set to grace our screens in October 2023.

Everything You Need To Know About Goblin Slayer Season 2

Derived from Kumo Kagyu's light novels and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki, Goblin Slayer is a great anime series. On January 31, 2021, GA FES 2021 unveiled a second season of the show. A transition in studios from White Fox to LIDENFILMS for the second season was confirmed via the series' official Twitter account in January 2023.

The second season was scheduled for a 2023 broadcast. However, there was no official confirmation of when the show will be released up until now. But now, the announcement confirmed that Goblin Slayer Season 2 will air in October 2023.

Goblin Slayer is a dark fantasy series centered around its titular character, an unrelenting adventurer with an unyielding vendetta against goblins. Traumatized by a goblin raid that took his loved ones, he devotes his life to their eradication. In a grim medieval world where adventurers combat monsters for rewards, Goblin Slayer's ruthless efficiency sets him apart.

He forms a mismatched group, including a priestess, elf archer, dwarf shaman, and lizardman, to face increasingly perilous challenges. The series offers a mature perspective on the fantasy genre, delving into the harsh realities and complexities of a dangerous world.

Although there is still no announcement about the episode count or cast members, we can assume the second season will mimic the episode count of the first season. Moreover, Yuichiro Umehara is expected to lend his voice to Goblin Slayer, alongside Yui Agura as Priestess and many more amazing characters. White Fox did an amazing job on the animation and LIDENFILMS is anticipated to do the same or even a better job.
