Who Is Kokushibo?

Making his debut in Chapter 98 in the Manga and the 1st episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc, we can say that the kind of sinister aura that Kokushibo has definitely made him deserving of his rank as the Upper Moon 1. This also means that he is the most powerful Demon in the 12 Kizuki, otherwise known as the 12 Demon Moons, and the 2nd most powerful overall, after Muzan Kibutsuji.
Kokushibo possesses the ability to manipulate his blood into various forms of weapons, such as swords, spears, and whips. He has a complex relationship with his younger brother Yoriichi Tsugikuni, who was the most powerful Demon Slayer and the original wielder of the Sun Breathing style. Kokushibo is a swordsman and the only Demon to use a breathing style, namely Breath of the Moon. His Blood Demon Art also contributes to his strength as a swordsman. This ability, combined with his formidable fighting skills, makes him one of the most powerful and dangerous characters in the series.
Kokushibo's personality is multi-faceted, displaying a reserved, silent, and aloof demeanor that complements his position as Upper-Rank One. He adheres strictly to the hierarchy of the Twelve Kizuki, exhibiting a strong sense of loyalty towards Muzan Kibutsuji and carrying out his goals with unwavering obedience. Kokushibo's reserved exterior is contrasted by a cold and unforgiving side, with his words and threats coming off as cruel and overwhelmingly serious. However, he is genuinely delighted when his opponents challenge him, displaying admiration for their skills and abilities.
Fighting Style And Abilities

Kokushibo's fighting style is based on his mastery of the Breath of the Moon sword style, which he developed as a human and then adapted to his Demon abilities. He is an expert swordsman, possessing incredible speed, agility, and precision, and he is able to create powerful shockwaves with his attacks. He can also use his Blood Demon Art to create a variety of weapons, including swords, spears, and whips, which he can use to attack from a distance.
One of Kokushibo's most unique abilities is his ability to regenerate his limbs by consuming the flesh of humans or Demons. This ability allows him to heal from injuries quickly and to continue fighting even after sustaining significant damage. He also has the power to create illusions with his blood, which he can use to confuse and disorient his opponents.

Consumed by jealousy and an unquenchable thirst for recognition, Kokushibo developed his own breathing style - Moon Breathing. However, even this was derived from Sun Breathing, leaving him feeling inadequate and unfulfilled.
