The latest episode also revealed that Tanjiro has the same eyes as Tokito's father, making fans wonder if there's a certain familial connection between the two. In the recent episode, Muichiro experiences a moment where he hallucinates Tanjiro speaking to him while also recalling memories of his father. This scene has sparked numerous speculations about a potential familial connection between Muichiro and Tanjiro, suggesting they may share a common bloodline.
However, these speculations are wrong, as Muichiro and Tanjiro are not actually related. In a future revelation within the series, it will be unveiled that their ancestors were not relatives but rather exceptionally close friends.

The Actual Relation Between Muichiro Tokito And Tanjiro Kamado
Yorichii Tsugikuni, the legendary Demon Slayer, shares a direct ancestral connection with Muichiro Tokito, as they are both descendants of the same bloodline. This lineage also links Muichiro to Kokushibo, the Upper Rank 1 Demon.
Within Tanjiro's lineage, there exists Sumiyoshi, who held a deep bond with Yorichii Tsugikuni. Remarkably, Yorichii entrusted his cherished Hanafuda Earrings to Sumiyoshi, an act that established a profound connection between their destinies. Now, after so many years, Tanjiro and Muichiro will have the same friendly bond that their ancestors used to have, and the two will be seen trailing and fighting Demons for years to come.
Passed down through the generations within the Kamado family, these earrings now grace Tanjiro's ears, serving as a tangible link that unites him with his ancestral heritage and the illustrious legacy of the Kamado Family. These earrings were also a factor that made Tanjiro a target for Muzan Kibutsuji.
