10/10 Re:Creators

Imagine if your favorite anime, game, or manga characters suddenly came to life in the real world. That’s the insane premise of Re:Creators, and it’s way cooler than you’d think. Instead of the usual 'human goes into fantasy world' trope, this flips things around, leading to some crazy battles and deep discussions about storytelling.
The action scenes are incredible, but what really makes this stand out is how it explores the relationship between creators and their creations. It’s an underrated anime series that deserves way more credit for its originality and uniqueness..
9/10 Gleipnir

Now this one is weird but in the best way possible. Gleipnir is like if a horror movie, a superhero story, and a psychological thriller had a baby. The main character can transform into a giant, creepy mascot suit, and another character literally climbs inside him to fight. Now that sounds insane, right? It totally is.
But beneath the bizarre concept, there’s a fascinating mystery, some wild action, and a surprisingly deep emotional core. It’s strange, dark, and unlike anything else, making it a hidden gem for anyone who likes their anime with a side of 'what the heck did I just watch?'
8/10 Terror in Resonance

If you love psychological thrillers, you need to watch Terror in Resonance. This anime follows two teenage terrorists who commit high-profile bombings in Tokyo while leaving behind cryptic riddles for the police to solve. The story just holds you tight from start to finish.
Unlike your typical action-packed anime, this one is more about the mind games and emotional weight of its characters. The series is haunting, beautifully directed, and has one of the best anime soundtracks ever. Watching it will make you wonder why doesn’t this get more love.
7/10 Alderamin on the Sky

Tired of the same old shonen power-ups? Alderamin on the Sky is a military strategy anime that focuses more on brains than brawn. The protagonist, Ikta Solork, is a lazy genius who doesn’t care about war until he’s forced to become a military leader.

6/10 C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control

Ever wondered what would happen if you could gamble with your future? C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control dives into a world where people fight using their futures as currency. It’s a mix of finance, supernatural battles, and philosophical questions about wealth and happiness.
The anime has some amazing fights, but it also makes you think about how money controls our lives. If you like anime that are both action-packed and deep, this one is a must-watch. Plus, who doesn’t love a good underdog story?
5/10 Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Think Attack on Titan, but with trains. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress has a similar vibe - humanity is on the brink of extinction, monsters are everywhere, and the remaining survivors live behind walls. But instead of Titans, we have terrifying zombie-like creatures called Kabane. However, they are as much life-threatening as the Titans.
This anime is visually stunning, with insane action sequences and a fantastic steampunk setting. While it does borrow some ideas from Attack on Titan, it still has its own identity and some great characters. It’s an underrated anime series with just 12 episodes that deserves your attention.
4/10 ID:Invaded

If you love detective stories but want something completely unique, ID: Invaded is for you. Written by Ōtarō Maijō, this anime is all about a detective named Narihisago, who dives into the subconscious of serial killers to solve crimes. Plus, with only 13 episodes, it's perfect for binge-watching.

3/10 Seraph of the End

Vampires vs. humans isn’t exactly a new concept, but Seraph of the End gives it a fresh twist. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where vampires have taken over, the anime follows a revenge-driven protagonist who’s willing to do anything to take them down.
The animation by Wit Studio is gorgeous, the fight scenes are epic, and the characters have some fantastic development. While the critics strongly suggest watching Seraph of the End, the series has remained in the shadows since its release in 2015.
2/10 Ergo Proxy

This one is for the cyberpunk lovers. Ergo Proxy is a dark, philosophical anime set in a dystopian world where humans and AI coexist - kind of. When murders start happening, a detective named Re-l Mayer begins to uncover some shocking secrets. As the secrets are unearthed, the story starts getting more intense.
This anime is deep, and sometimes even a little confusing, but in a good way. Dai Satō, the genius mind behind the series has worked on some legendary anime like Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, but this one remains underrated.
1/10 Blast of Tempest

Last but definitely not least, Blast of Tempest is a mix of Shakespearean tragedy, mystery, and supernatural battles. Two best friends get caught up in a world-ending conspiracy involving magic, revenge, and some seriously intense plot twists.
The characters are well-written, the story is unpredictable, and the emotional moments hit hard. This anime is a hidden gem with 24 episodes that was released in 2012 and is surely far better than its rating.
